Longhaired Whippet
Long Haired Whippets are very elegant in appearance. They have a moderately long head with a fairly wide back skull, very large, dark eyes and a black nose. Unlike their short haired relatives, they do well in cooler climates because of their long coat. Long Haired Whippets are friendly, intelligent, lively and affectionate. They are quite athletic and playful and make good pets. They can be hyper without enough exercise. Longhaired Whippets are not recognized by the AKC but are recognized by the CKC. Grooming needs are minimal. These dogs weigh 15 to 28 lbs. and stand 18-22" at the shoulders. Photo courtesy of Rocco Cantorelli |

di Castello Cantorelli | We are working together with american breeders. We help you to find your LHW in Europe and the USA. We also im-and export the dogs. If you have any questions, please contact me. The LHW is one of the most lovely dogs. He is quiet in the house and loves to cuddle up with their human. On long walks they are good companions. LHW are very good in agility and they love to run at the racetrack. In rare breed show events they are very successful and always a show topper. |
